The word of Allah and Uhud loves us, and we love Uhud, the inscription on the mountain

Mount Uhud is a mountain located north of Medina that witnessed a significant military defeat (3 AH/625 CE). Despite this, the Prophet Muhammad spoke of Uhud with deep love and spiritual attachment. This attachment is reflected in the words of the Messenger of Allah about that mountain. According to the narration of Anas ibn Malik, during the Battle of Khaybar, when Mount Uhud appeared on the way, the Prophet said: 'This mountain loves us, and we love it.' In another narration, it is stated: 'Uhud is a mountain that loves us and we love it.' This hadith reveals that Mount Uhud is not just a geographical location but a sacred symbol that carries deep meanings in Islamic history. There are also narrations that mention the inscription or carving of the word 'Allah' on or near Mount Uhud. This writing or sign has been referred to as a special element that attracted the attention of visitors in later periods and integrated with the spiritual atmosphere of the mountain. The Prophet Muhammad also said about Mount Uhud: 'O Uhud! Stand firm. There is a prophet, a truthful one, and two martyrs upon you.' (Although Bukhari narrates that the Prophet said this about Mount Sel, some sources attribute it to Uhud as well.) Seventy companions were martyred in the Battle of Uhud, including the Prophet's uncle, Hamza. The Prophet would visit the grave of the martyrs of Uhud every year and pray for them.
