The House of Sa'd b. Heyseme

Sa'd b. Heyseme is a companion from the Aws tribe of Kubâ. The geographical location of his house, being close to the Kubâ mosque, made it a meeting and conversation place during the Prophet's days in Kubâ. When the Prophet arrived in Kubâ during the migration, he was a guest at Külsûm b. Hidm's house; however, he held discussions with the companions at Sa'd's house and conducted his daily meetings there. Ibn Hishâm narrates this distinction as follows: "The Messenger of Allah used to stay at Külsûm b. Hidm's house. Due to its spaciousness, he would also sit at Sa'd b. Heyseme's house, which he found more suitable, and converse with his companions." Sa'd b. Heyseme was martyred in the Battle of Badr; he is from a family honored by the Prophet Muhammad along with his father. The location of this house near Kubâ also aligns with the history of the Kubâ Mosque.
