The Prayer of the Messenger of Allah When Departing from Uhud

According to the narration mentioned, when the Prophet Muhammad returned from the Battle of Uhud (3 AH/625 CE) and arrived at the Harra location near Medina, he said: "Arrange yourselves in rows, we will praise Allah." Upon this, the companions lined up behind the Prophet. The Messenger of Allah prostrated and praised Allah in this sacred moment with his army that experienced the Battle of Uhud and lost seventy martyrs. When evaluating the content of this narration, several important dimensions emerge: Firstly, gratitude after the battle: The Prophet chose to praise Allah first even after a difficult battle, personal injury, and heavy losses. This is a concrete reflection of the Messenger's attitude of turning to Allah in both victory and hardship. Secondly, communal prayer: Organizing the army in rows to pray is a collective act of reverence, not an individual one. It is meaningful in terms of remembering the martyrs and praying for the survivors. Thirdly, the Harra location: The Harra areas, which are volcanic rock formations near Medina, are among the places frequently mentioned by the Prophet, especially Harra-i Vakîm and Harra-i Vebere.
