The place of Umm Ma'bed's tent (2nd day of Hijra)

Umm Ma'bed (Atika bint Khalid al-Huzaiyya) is from the Kâ'boğulları branch of the Huzâa tribe. She lived in a tent along the Mecca-Medina route with her husband Abu'l-Jevn (Ekdem b. Ebî'l-Cevn or Temîm b. Abdüluzzâ). She displayed meat and dates in front of her tent to sell to passing travelers. During the Hijra journey (September 622), the Prophet visited this tent with Abu Bakr and their guides. Umm Ma'bed said she had nothing to sell to her guests and had removed her display due to famine. At that moment, a tied sheep was standing by the tent. The Prophet looked at the sheep and asked if there was any milk. Umm Ma'bed replied, "The sheep is very weak and has no milk." The Prophet asked for permission, stroked the sheep's udder, and mentioned the name of Allah. Milk flowed abundantly from the sheep; first, he gave it to Umm Ma'bed, then to his companions, and finally, he drank himself. When her husband returned home and saw the milk container full next to the sheep, he was astonished. Umm Ma'bed recounted what had happened. The man said, "This description is of a blessed prophet." In the following process, Umm Ma'bed and her husband became Muslims. This event is recorded in Islamic history as the "Umm Ma'bed miracle"; it is considered a concrete reflection of the support Allah showed to the Prophet during the critical days of the Hijra.
