The hadith written on this sign

This plaque also contains the same fundamental hadith regarding the virtue of the Rawdah: "The place between my house and my pulpit is one of the gardens of Paradise; my pulpit is at the head of my basin." (صَلاَةٌ فِي مَسْجِدِي هَذَا — this emphasis is also highlighted on this sign) The repetition of the same or similar hadiths in different corners and sections of the Prophet's Mosque serves to constantly remind visitors of the spiritual significance of this place as a whole. These plaques reinforce the consciousness that each step taken during the entrance to the mosque, approaching the Rawdah, and visiting the grave of the Prophet (peace be upon him) is a conscious act of worship. Such plaques in the Prophet's Mosque were mostly installed during the Ottoman period and were written by calligraphers in various styles of calligraphy. The use of different calligraphic styles such as Thuluth, Naskh, and Muhaqqaq transforms these plaques into works of art.
