The grave of Hz. Zekvân b. Abdikays

Zekvân b. Abdikays (d. 3/625), whose full name is Abū's-Sab' Zekvân b. Abdikays b. Khaled el-Ensârî, belongs to the Khazraj tribe. Born in Medina, this companion participated in both the First and Second Aqabah Pledges. These pledges are historical agreements in which the Muslims of Medina publicly declared their loyalty to the Prophet. After the Hijra, Zekvân fought on the side of the Muslims in the Battle of Badr (H. 2/M. 624). At that time, no one could know that the following year would bring Uhud for the Muslims, who were elated by the victory at Badr. Zekvân was martyred in the Battle of Uhud (H. 3/M. 625). The martyrs of Uhud are considered blessed with the special prayer of the Prophet. The Messenger of Allah used to visit Uhud every year and pray for the martyrs. The grave of Hz.
