The grave of Hz. Sa'd b. Rebi and his brother Hz. Harice b. Zeyd

Sa'd b. Rebî' el-Hazrecî (d. 3/625) is a prominent Ansar companion from the Hazrec tribe. When the Prophet Muhammad migrated, Sa'd was declared a brother to Abdurrahman b. Avf; he offered half of his wealth and one of his wives to Abdurrahman b. Avf. This act of generosity is one of the most famous anecdotes in Islamic history. In the Battle of Uhud, Sa'd b. Rebî' was severely wounded. After the battle, the Prophet Muhammad sent Muhammad b. Mesleme to look for him. Muhammad b. Mesleme found him near death; Sa'd said: "Give my regards to the Prophet; we cannot offer any excuse. And tell the Ansar that if the Prophet is given the opportunity, you cannot present any excuse to Allah." Harice b.
