The grave of Hz. Abdullah b. Cafer b. Ebu Talib

Abdullah b. Ca'fer b. Ebî Tâlib (d. 80/699-700) holds the honor of being the first Muslim child born in Abyssinia. His father was Ca'fer b. Ebî Tâlib, and his mother was Esmâ bint Umeys, the wife of Hz. Ali's brother. The Prophet Muhammad would take Abdullah in his arms, stroke his hair, and pray: "O Allah! Continue the lineage of Ca'fer with goodness." Abdullah grew up alongside his uncle Hz. Ali, who raised him as his own son. Abdullah b. Ca'fer is known for his generosity; he was referred to as "Denizü'l-cûd" (the sea of generosity). He lived in Medina during the time of Hz. Muâviye and the Umayyad period.
