The grave of Abdullah b. Amr b. Haram and Amr b. Cemuh

Abdullah b. Amr b. Haram al-Hazrecî (d. 3/625) is the father of Hz. Câbir b. Abdullah. He was martyred in the Battle of Uhud; Hz. Prophet said about him: "Allah spoke directly to him and asked, 'What do you want?' Abdullah replied: 'I was killed to meet You; send me back so that I may be killed again in Your way.' Allah said: 'It has been decreed that 'We do not revive those who are killed in My presence.'" Amr b. Cemuh al-Hazrecî (d. 3/625) insisted on participating in the battle to become a martyr, even though he was not obliged to fight due to his limp. He said, 'I do not want to limp in paradise.' When Hz. Prophet was burying the martyrs, he said about these two: 'They were shoulder to shoulder in this world; they loved each other. Bury them in a single grave.'
