Azkin Well and Mustazal Garden

When the Prophet Muhammad migrated to Medina, he was welcomed in an atmosphere of great joy and excitement. The people of Medina formed groups that waited all night until dawn, eagerly anticipating the arrival of the Prophet. Before entering Medina, the Prophet stayed for a few days in Quba. As he moved towards Medina, the local people greeted him with enthusiasm. The Mustazal area is one of the first points where this welcoming ceremony took place and where the Prophet rested in the shade. The word 'Mustazal' means 'shaded place' in Arabic, indicating that the Prophet stood under a tree or shade here. 'Azkin' is a place name meaning fertile land.
