Medina
Medina (al-Madinah al-Munawwarah) is a blessed city located in the Hejaz region, on the western side of the Arabian Peninsula, and is one of the two holy cities of Islam. It is the city of the Prophet's migration, the location of the Prophet's Mosque, and the blessed grave of the Messenger of Allah, making it the most revered place in Islam after Mecca. It is referred to by Muslims as 'Medinatun-Nabi' (City of the Prophet) or 'al-Madinah al-Munawwarah' (Illuminated City).
