Stone inscriptions on Mount Uhud (Nakuş Jebel Uhud)

Mount Uhud is a sacred geography located about 5 km north of Medina, which witnessed one of the most critical military events in Islamic history — the Battle of Uhud (3 AH/625 AD). Various inscriptions from different periods can be found on the rocks of this mountain; two of these inscriptions are clearly visible in the video recorded by Adnan Şensoy. **'الله الاحد' (Allah el-Ehad):** This expression, meaning "Allah is One, Unique," is the most concise declaration of monotheism in Islam. It aligns with the second verse of Surah Al-Ikhlas, expressing the uniqueness and oneness of Allah in its simplest form. **'يراك' (He sees you):** This short sentence, meaning "He sees you," refers to Allah's omnipresence, or the concept of murāqaba (Allah's constant observation).
