History

Beni Hudâre is one of the branches of the Khazraj tribe in Medina. Ibn Zebâle (d. 199/814) records in his work Ahbârü'l-Medîne that the Prophet Muhammad prayed in the Beni Hudâre Mosque. This narration reveals the historical connection of the mosque with the Prophet Muhammad. This location, also known as "Wada Hill," has been one of the important geographical points of Medina throughout history. Although the exact origin of the name Wada is not known, it is believed that the region is related to events in Islamic history.
