Usbeh - Hecim Well - Mescid-i Nur - Tevbe Mosque

Ibn Zebâle (d. 199/814) recorded various mosques and places around Kuba in his work Ahbârü'l-Medîne, one of the oldest sources of Medina's history. Among these records is the information that the Prophet Muhammad prayed at the "Mescid-i Tevbe" in the Usbeh area next to the Hecim Well. Usbeh refers to a location north of or near the Kuba Mosque. This area contains multiple historical layers: the Hecim Well, the Tevbe Mosque where the Prophet Muhammad prayed, and the Mescid-i Nûr, whose exact location cannot be determined today. The area around Kuba was a fertile region where the Prophet Muhammad frequently stayed before and after the Hijra. Therefore, many places around it have become historical due to a visit or prayer of the Prophet Muhammad.
